Our Structure

Scientella operates as a hub-and-spoke model, with a central HQ team and numerous high school chapters.

  • Headquarters (HQ)

Our Headquarters (HQ) team of General Manager, student HQ Leaders, and adult Advisors fulfill our mission by collaborating on organizational management. This includes career exploration matchmaking, student/professional engagement, communications, partnership initiatives, chapter management, fundraising, and more.

The HQ Leader position is a prestigious opportunity held by less than 10 girls from different chapters per school year. Each student has a specific role related to Scientella’s management.

Scientella has 10 Advisors representing companies such as Takeda, Microsoft, Illumina, ResMed, and Qualcomm. Advisors act as points of contact for their given company and provide oversight of Scientella’s activities.

  • Chapters

Our high school chapters operate as school clubs and offer a reliable method of recruiting new student members to fill career exploration matches, offer an additional layer of leadership opportunities, and present an opportunity to engage with their community through local initiatives.

Students engage with Scientella career matches as general members and/or as chapter members. Scientella chapters provide an opportunity for members to increase their leadership and involvement in the organization by holding a chapter officer position.

As of the end of 2023, Scientella has 15 active high school chapters spanning 5 states (CA, MA, TX, FL, NC) and 2 countries (USA, India).

Our Chapters

Organizational Succession

Scientella offers a progressive system of engagement for both students and professionals, from onboarding as match recipients/givers to serving as local officers/ambassadors to becoming top level managers/advisors in the organization.

Our organizational succession for leadership development balks the savior mentality and fosters a “be good, be hopeful” impact-leadership mindset. By starting as general member beneficiaries and proceeding to elevate leadership involvement as project managers, chapter leaders, and HQ leaders, students pay-it-forward to other kids by contributing to the management and expansion of Scientella.

This promotes a “Kids for Kids'' mentality that emphasizes the importance of service to one’s community. Students carry such a mindset into their future careers and lives to impactfully contribute to selfless missions and fulfill a larger sense of purpose.
